Fresh Fruit Muesli Porridge

This is comfort food. Soft, chewy, textured porridge with crunchy fresh fruits. Every spoonful is satisfaction!

Your favourite Classic Muesli is made of five whole grains, almonds, sesame seeds, dates, figs and raisins all lovingly coated in the lightest layer of jaggery and honey. All you need to bring to this party is your favourite type of milk and fruit salad. You can mix and match this recipe with any combination of your favourite fruits. Muesli porridge is a good way for people with sensitive teeth to eat muesli. Due to its soft texture, it puts less strain on your teeth and jaw muscles while you chew. 

This is a nutritionally complete and balanced breakfast of fruit, fibre and nuts. It will sustain you throughout the day and reduce those junk food-fueled hunger pangs. Your body will thank you for this wholesome bowl of goodness!

  • 40g Classic Muesli
  • 1 cup Milk (enough to cover the muesli)
  • 1/2 Chopped Apple
  • 4 Tbsp pomegranate arils
  • 1/2 a large banana/ 1 small banana
  • 1/4 peach

This recipe has two steps.

Step 1: Make the porridge by soaking your muesli in warm milk for ten mins or overnight in the fridge. Step 2: Make a fruit salad with apples, banana, pomegranate and peach. Give the chopped fruits a nice mix and set aside. Now, add the fruit salad to the muesli porridge and mix it around a bit to get all the fruit juices into the porridge. Fresh fruit muesli porridge can be served hot or cold! Delicious both ways! Et voila, enjoy a bowlful!
